I'm going to need some choices from y'all so that I can prep for these initial sessions. This blog post presents 4 options. I will provide more information on these options based on your feedback and interest. I also created a new House Rule that may influence your choice. Then, I mention tape measures. There's a link at the end to another blog post that you might find helpful.
I'm hoping that I will have enough feedback from you guys by Sunday Feb 6th. This will give me a week to prepare.
Your thoughts, questions, and especially your choices are crucial to make this work. Otherwise I'm just playing d&d in my head and I'm bored of doing that.
Option A
You follow through with your rescue of the prisoners that are being held captive by the Jawalass (shark tribe).
Option B
You return to Tanaroa and explore the Main Island beyond the Gate.
Option C
You explore one of the smaller islands or coastal sites (pirates, pterafolk, haunted village, etc)
Option D
None of the above because you have another idea to share.
Important new house rules:
*You can play multiple characters.
*You can play characters created by someone else, as long as the creator agrees to it.
*This includes Jigo and Wilyur as long as an effort is made to get their opinion on it.
Warning! You need to be comfortable enough with the rules to play those characters without help from me.
Even if you all decided to become power-gamers and play 3 characters each, the Isle of Dread could&would still pose a challenge. We've barely scratched the surface of this adventure
