Bookings 'til Monday? No, thanks...

"Just a regular Goblin locksmith"

Four scoundrels, each in their own right, found themselves locked away in Sawtooth Prison on the far northern edge of Precinct Four.

Behind bars and with naught to do, a seemingly amicable goblin from the cell over beckons them for some help undoing his lock. With a small contribution from Noog and a bit of ingenuity, he unlatches his cell lock and the party's in kind, shortly after.

"The name's Krenko!" he uttered excitedly.

The party was wary of the seedy character. They accept his offer to unlock their cell but they remained inside until the goblin is far out of sight.

"Suit yer'selves then. Personally don't find the idea of this place much of a good time," he muttered as he disappeared around the corner.

After some debate, the party agreed on a plan: Schulden leads, gets some nice gold for the trouble and everyone was to follow suit at one point or another.

Noog carefully surveyed behind the mechanical titan with great care.

The flat-footed halfling, Dale could think of no more than to rush to the aroma of fresh soup and bread sitting in the kitchen.

They noticed unfinished meals, and half scooched chairs. The rugs were creased at the edges as if there was a great rush to leave. They paid it no heed.

After some not-so-brief exploration of the facility, they found the detainee belongings room where they retrieved a number of interesting items, some gold and their own gear as they made their way out the now clearly empty Boros penitentiary.

As Schulden marched toward daylight at the exit, a Centaur Berserker approached from the outside - clearly having already had a grand fill of carnage.

With a lumbering charge, the centaur drove his pike deep into Schulden, disabling him instantly as the rest of the party flung spells and projectiles at the bloodied barbarian.

With a bit of luck, Delorix, Dale and Noog managed to down the beast and revived poor Schulden reeling from his faulty and now damaged circuitry.

As they sauntered out the building, chaos presented itself.

A massive two-headed ogre battled the entire Boros garrison just before them; each swipe of the arm, every lunge of the axe threw no less than three guardsmen to their death.

The party themselves had their own hands full dealing with the pesky goblins picking off the weakened and the dying.

Schulden once again was beset by poor luck as two goblins downed him for a second time.

A bit of teamwork saw him back on his feet.

Delorix flung bolt after bolt, wearing away at the small group of raiders.

Dale snagged one in the neck with his impressive cardplay for an instant kill.

Schulden managed to skewer two with the same pike like some sort of horrendous shiskabob.

Noog threw his firebolts and directed his hummingbird with great skill and tact, managing to spot their old friend Krenko disappear into a nearby cave.

As the goblins were dispatched, the party saw no hope in the Boros cause. They hastily fled south toward the main city to escape what had been - at that point - the most eventful day they have yet spent in each's company.

With any luck, they might remain gainfully employed.
