Flo'rel was in a moral quandary as he raced after Cid (aka "El Cid" / aka "The Rook" / aka "that cocky asshole" but this last moniker only said by the ship's crew and well out of earshot.) The group was sprinting across 150 feet or so of rocky beach towards the two canoes resting on the shore. Cid's plan was simple: hop in the boats and rescue the prisoners; what could go wrong? With worries of collateral damage, Flo'rel mentally prepared for the worst and hoped for the best.
Cid, Flo'rel, Claritin, Bistek, Wilyur, and Jigo clambered into the canoes before any of the Jawalaas noticed what was happening. The two canoes made it to the red circle on the map when the Jawalaas moved to intercept the Adventurers. The leader transformed into a hybrid shark thing and swam towards the group with his 2 bodyguards following after (blue arrow). The fisherman raced their canoes (green arrows) towards the the huts. The women and children fled inside of the huts (yellow circle).
The group split up here;
Group 1 Bistek, Claritin, and Cid paddled for the prisoners hut (directly to the right of the red circle)
Group 1 got to the prisoners hut and climbed the ladder before the incoming fishermen could get there. Claritin took out a couple of tribesmen with arrows. Cid secured the hut by electrifying one guard to death (the Paladin may have to atone for this one, not sure). This death freaked out guard #2 who quickly surrendered. The dwarven prisoners were found.
After Bistek destroyed the ladder to get onto the hut, the fishermen changed course to go under the it. Claritin and Bistek retreated into the hut and found a hole in the back used for shitting. With a spectacular display of athleticism and acrobatics, Claritin grabbed Bistek by the ankles and squatted over the shithole; a now upside down Bistek was lowered into the hole armed with a bow. He manage an upside down hit on a tribesmen that was approaching the hole. I imagine that it looked like something out of an Ambiguously Gay Duo cartoon.
Group 2 Jigo, Wilyur, and Flo'rel climbed the ladder to the yellow circle hut.
