Maurice Pompatus, formerly Carter Damp

History

Maurice Pompatus began life as Carter Damp in some backwoods neighborhood in a galaxy far, far away. He got his Pilot training with Trans World Airlines (TWA). He discovered that TWA was transporting slaves hidden in the cargo. He snitched on them to the local authorities. Unfortunately for Carter Damp, TWA is a powerful multi-galaxial conglomerate, so he had to erase and recreate his identity.

He restarted life as Maurice Pompatus. Maurice, now unhirable to the only airlines in town, turned to smuggling. Having intimate knowledge of how TWA and law enforcement operated, his business flourished. He subsequently became an adrenaline junkie, taking bigger and bigger risks. After some time he joined the Gang.

Personality

Maurice likes cops, especially corrupt ones, but he genuinely respects cops and all law enforcement. He’s just really good at skirting the law, what else is he going to do?

He’s also a compulsive pickpocket. If he sees something he likes, he might attempt to swipe it. He’ll then either give the stolen object away or try to pawn it. The object itself is not important to him; it’s the act of pickpocketing that he enjoys.

He hates slavery and will fight it every chance that he gets.
