You guys are starting to vary your alignment choices and I think it's worth reviewing the definitions of each Alignment.
The Three Alignment System vs The Nine Alignment System
There are only 3 Alignments in DCC: Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic. In most D&D games there are 9 alignments (lawful good, chaotic good, chaotic neutral, chaotic evil etc). Both systems are closely related and very similar, but it's best if you regard them as separate. You should probably ignore the 9 alignment system when we're playing DCC because those other alignments (lawful good, neutral evil, etc) just don't exist.
Your Alignment is open to some interpretation. Being Lawful doesn't mean that you automatically agree to local law. Just as it's reasonable for a Chaotic person to be trustworthy out of simple self interest (it's more profitable to cooperate).
People of opposing alignments can work together to achieve a common goal. Although these sort of alliances often turn volatile.
