I found this old thread on a D&D message board. Most of it is Session Recaps of an old campaign from 2013. I am currently on page 36. This guy decided to run a true old school D&D game using the "Basic" rules from the late 1970's. Character stats were rolled randomly, even hit points. So you can end up with a character with 1 hit point (yikes!). The DM also used random Dungeon Generators to create the dungeons.
Essentially, the whole campaign is just randomly created characters going into randomly created dungeons. The players do their best to avoid the monsters and find the loot; since most of your Experience Points was based on the loot you found over anything else. The strangest thing is that, even with all this randomness, some interesting story lines emerge. Another really cool part is that no one knows what'll happen next, including the DM.
